Epic sound.

Lovely Depeche performance and they were classy. BUT terrible interviewer with cringe-inducing weird behavior, tacky and crude (including the ripped pants), asked too few good questions, his going on about Dave's difficult past and body piercings was mean-spirited; and the metal detector bit was disrespectful of all guests present.

What a terrible, lazy interview on Jonathan Ross' part. I have been a lifelong Depeche Mode fan and am from the U.K but I also had posters of Jonathan Ross on my wall as a teen - I'm glad this is 10 years ago or I'd have to review my opinion of Jonathan - I like to think if he interviewed them now he'd be a bit deeper and not go for the cheap gags and talking over the band he is supposed to be interviewing. They do have a lot to say but clearly have got fed up with this style of interviewing - Fletch was fabulous here.
